Australian rock star John Farnham manager has kicked out coronavirus demonstrators marching to his most popular tune.
Melbourne’s Chadstone Shopping Center became the venue of Sunday afternoon ‘s new anti-lockdown protest.
Around 50 people gathered in front of a pharmacy before breaking out into a Farnham’s You are the Voice rendition.
At protests across the city the song has become a common theme.
But Farnham and his boss have now distanced themselves from the protesters.
“It’s very offensive to John and I that they choose to use You’re the Voice as the theme of this protest,” John’s manager Glenn Wheatley said.
Anti-lockdown protesters have led police on a chase through bayside suburbs on the third straight weekend of demonstrations. 16 people were arrested with more than 20 others fined, and the group is planning to cause even more chaos tomorrow. @BlakeJohnson #7NEWS pic.twitter.com/e677bONdYL
