It may only be August, but shoppers have already confirmed seeing Christmas trees and decorations for sale in some Australian Costco shops.
A number of Costco fans posted on a famous Facebook page shared images of the latest store’s new collection.
At Crossroads store in Casula, NSW, photographs show a range of wreaths, ribbons, baubles, garlands, wrapping paper and table centrepieces.
Another Costco fan posted a picture of a big tree in her local shop, surrounded by decorations.
“Christmas has arrived at Costco!” said shopper Christie on the Christmas Mums Australia page.
“Below are some photos taken tonight. Enjoy!”
Costco is expected to be Australia’s first major retailer to begin selling its Christmas range in several stores in 2020.
Many have been delighted with the news.
Many Melbourne shoppers, however, said they were upset at losing out on Costco shopping.
Many shoppers are unable to drive to Costco with Victoria’s Stage 4 lockout restrictions still in effect.
