Two Arrested in Connection With Bashing 84-Year-Old Perth Man

Two men have been arrested in Perth after reportedly brutally bashing an 84-year-old man.
Police arrested on Thursday morning in Yanchep a 28-year-old Seville Grove man in Kelmscott and a 24-year-old man in Armadale.
They ‘re accused of bashing East Cannington man Emilio Lombardi when he went around 7 pm on Sunday to investigate a disturbance.
Mr Lombardi is in a critical condition at the Royal Perth Hospital following the suspected attack described as “cowardly” and unprovoked by the police.
Police released photos of the 84-year-old with a deep gash over his clothes to the head and blood.
“WA Police Force prioritised resources to investigate this incident,” police said in a statement.
“There has been an overwhelming response from the community in respect to sharing the appeal for information and posting messages of support online for the victim.”
