A woman has told of her shock after returning from shopping to find an abusive note typed on a white card and left on her car.
Jo Clarke had parked between the white lines at Shore City Shopping Centre on Sunday when she found the profanity-filled letter.
Typed in black ink onto a white piece of cardboard, the note had been tucked into her driver’s side window by an angry stranger.
‘Thanks for parking so close. Next time leave a f***ing can opener so I can get out. A**holes like you should take the bus,’ the note said.
Ms Clarke said she thought the card was advertising at first, and found it more amusing than threatening.
‘I was just more surprised someone had typed cards on hand waiting for someone to cross them,’ she said.
‘No one has ever called me an a**hole before so I thought that was quite empowering and funny.’
Ms Clarke said she had parked properly, and thinks maybe the angry stranger was jealous of her new work vehicle.
‘It was a narrow space that I reversed three times to leave space on either side and was within the white lines,’ she said.
The identity of the furious driver who left the note on Ms Clarke’s car remains unknown.
